FAQ

The Foxylight BiColor LED Soft-Light Edge Solution provides a superior lighting experience compared to traditional ring or video lights. Unlike those lights that position the LEDs facing the front of the light panel, Foxylight’s innovative design vertically integrates the LED lights into the edge (or side) of the frame. This ensures a softer and gentler lighting effect, making it ideal for photography, videography, and video calls.

A tripod is not included in the Foxylight set. However, Foxylight does have two ¼” threaded mount holes for any third party tripod or desk mount stands.

Example: KINGJUE 60” Camera Phone Tripod Stand

You can use our included Table Stand.

Or:

We suggest any Heavy Duty Camera Desk Mount Stand with threaded ¼” screw.

Example: Lentok Heavy Duty Camera Desk Mount Stand with Flexible Articulating Boom Arm

Example: DImotliyor Overhead Camera Mount Desk Stand, 3-Section Flexible Detachable Articulating Arm

To change the light settings, you can either click the dimmer switch button repeatedly to adjust the brightness incrementally, or you can press and hold the button for a longer duration to change the light settings more quickly. This allows for convenient and efficient adjustment of the lighting intensity to suit your needs.

The blinking of the main light on the panel side indicates that the battery is about to run out of power and the light will go off soon.

Yes. Foxylight, being a lighting solution for photography with a built-in battery, is allowed as carry-on for air travel as well as in checked luggage, in accordance with international regulations.

The Foxylight holder is available as part of the set, which includes the smartphone holder, the box, and the table stand.

The small box is available as part of the set, which includes the box, the smartphone holder and the table stand.

If the lid doesn’t close, check if the smartphone holder is placed diagonally. If that isn’t solving the problem, the lid might be broken.

The small box is magnetic so that our Foxylight smartphone holder can also attach on the light panel side. The big Plexiglas surface isn’t magnetic. Placing the small box in the center opening, bottom facing the light panel side, provides the necessary magnetic surface for attaching the magnetic smartphone holder and the magnetic mirror.

The black ring inside the box is the Foxylight table stand. It enables Foxylight to stand vertically on a flat surface, such as a table. It functions like a miniature tripod, but in a more compact size.

Power banks are not sufficient to operate our Foxylight.

Foxylight cannot charge smartphones. If it were possible, Foxylight would not be permitted in the main luggage on airplanes.

Foxylight does not have a Bluetooth remote control functionality. It is designed to be operated manually as it preserves the battery power of up to 20%.

An average lifespan for BiColor LED is at least 20,000 hours
